This beautiful escritoire impresses all around. From the beautiful book matched flame mahogany front to the stunning pierced ormolu mounts, the maker has spared no expense in ensuring this cabinet delivers excellence.

Who were the makers?

Haengtes Freres was a renonwned cabintemaking firm in the late 19th century in Paris. Denise Ledoux-Lebard lists the celebrated company Haentges Frères as being located at 9, Immeubles Industriels from 1883 and later at 6, rue Titon.
