French Louis armchairs get a new lease on life

Not only does this give an antique a new lease on life, but it provides context to a piece that has the potential to look out of place in a modern home. A pair of 19th century French Louis XVI armchairs that had long since seen better days. We cleaned and repaired the chairs and took two beautiful contemporary fabrics and worked them into the back and front of the chairs respectively. The result was simply beautiful.
