Here we show you what is possible as part of restoration. Restoration of our product before it leaves our premises is such a key part of the business and we take it very seriously. Antiques are variable in the way that they respond to restoration, and achieving the end result that a client wants can be astonishingly difficult and tricky to achieve. The pieces are complex, the materials all different and restoring the pieces to the standard required whilst respecting what they are, is a bit like walking a tightrope. Fortunately, our restorer has been with us for over 35 years and there’s not a lot that he and Nick Wallrock can’t solve when they put their heads together. It is a fascinating process.
