Re-polishing or Waxing
As part of restoration, we can clean and gently re-polish and or wax this piece of antique furniture depending on your individual taste. Our French polisher has been with us for 40 years, and does everything by hand. No spray guns, and no nasty polyurethane sprays. Polishing allows the grain of the piece of furniture to become evident once again, and waxing provides a soft glow, however there is also the option to keep the piece in totally original condition if this is your preference. To discuss the best restoration option for this piece please don’t hesitate to phone or email us.
Upholstery & Fabric
Re-upholstery and beautiful fabric breathe new life into your antique and allow you to be part of the story of its history. We source some of the finest quality fabrics in the world, including hand embroidered silks, bespoke custom panels, linens, velvets and more.
After selecting your antique, we have a discussion with you to understand your own style, tastes and preferences in terms of fabric and upholstery. From here, we present you with a range of beautiful quality fabrics that meet your criteria for final selection on your piece of furniture. From here, we organise the upholstery and then deliver to you a complete and beautiful piece.
We can also help you with fabrics for cushions, curtains and more on request.
To discuss fabric and upholstery options for this piece please don’t hesitate to phone or email us.
