What sizes do antique French beds come in?
Antique French beds are available in a range of sizes including single, queen, king and emperor. The original beds in this collection will take Australian Standard sizing depending on the bed.
Can antique beds be adapted for modern mattresses?
Yes, all our beds are custom restored for each individual client which means if the bed rails are too short, we lengthen them to standard length inclusive in the price in our in-house workshop. This is done to a very high standard.
Do you provide a custom slatted base? Yes we do. Wallrocks make a custom slatted base made by hand to fit our beds which are extremely stable and last many years. There is the option to have these upholstered. Please enquire for a quote.
Can I re-upholster the bed? Yes absolutely in fact that’s part of the fun. Wallrocks work closely with our Australian clients to select a designer fabric that suits their home and taste and we reupholster the bed to showroom standard. Discover the examples of our reupholstered beds.
