19th Century French Louis XVI Queen Bed: Beautiful 19th century French demi-lune shaped queen size French provincial bed the well carved ribbon-moulding with decorated frame highlighted in ivory and blue-greens, supported on legs carved in the form of acanthus leaves joining original fluted side rails. Please note image 3 is a render only, and illustrates an example of how the bed transforms with alternative fabrics based on individual taste.

This beautiful French bed is in good structural condition and price includes restoration of painted decoration. On request Wallrocks can have the bed re-upholstered with a beautiful new fabric so please don’t hesitate to ask for a quote and suitable options.

Redecorating and Finishing

We buy our furniture in original condition. Sometimes, the condition of the paint-work and gilding (decoration) needs some attention. We work closely with you to respectfully restore the paintwork and gilding on the furniture. Whether you prefer the hallmarks of age, or like your antique to look perfect, like the antique as it is or would prefer the colour changed, we can cater to all tastes during restoration.
