There is huge flexibility with restoration and pieces transform dramatically. We work very closely with clients to ensure that their antique cabinet or sideboard is restored exactly as they wish to see it in their home.
Our most important marquetry side cabinet features magnificent marquetry panels made by renowned 19th century marqueteur Joseph Cremer who made furniture for the Dutch royal family and Louis Philipe. Antique cabinets of this quality are extremely difficult to find – they were rare when they were first made as only the most important aristocrats and royals had the financial means to have them made and for obvious reasons time has made them scarcer again.
