19th Century Chinoiserie Bamboo Side Table : 19th century French faux bamboo chinoiserie side table the burr maple top of octagonal form with faux bamboo mouldings in burr-maple to the edge above a frieze supported on four moulded legs joined by a cross-stretcher.
Condition: The table is good original condition and is structurally sound. The price includes cleaning and re-polishing at the time of sale by Wallrocks highly experienced restoration team of 40 years.
Popular in 19th century English and French interiors when the Europeans re-interpreted Chinese designs reviving the 17th century fashion for chinoiserie interiors.
