19th Century English Marquetry Pedestal Table: Fine quality 19th century centre pedestal side table the circular top with flowers inlaid into ebonised circular veneer bordered by foliate marquetry above an inlaid scalloped frieze supported on a finely turned and carved centre pedestal supported on three carved scrolling legs.

Condition: This table is in extremely good original condition retaining its original French polish. Price includes gentle cleaning and waxing by our skilled restoration team.

These pieces make beautiful luxury accent tables within an array of different genres of interior. Displayed as a wine table between a pair of armchairs, in a hallway beneath a painting or as a simple side table in any room, they’re highly versatile and sculptural pieces.

Re-polishing or Waxing

As part of restoration, we can clean and gently re-polish and or wax this piece of antique furniture depending on your individual taste. Our French polisher has been with us for 40 years, and does everything by hand. No spray guns, and no nasty polyurethane sprays. Polishing allows the grain of the piece of furniture to become evident once again, and waxing provides a soft glow, however there is also the option to keep the piece in totally original condition if this is your preference.
