Set of 10 Antique Chippendale Dining Chairs
Fine quality set of 10 late 19th century English selected mahogany dining chairs in the manner of Chippendale including a pair of carvers, the shaped moulded top rail supported by a heavily carved pierced fretted central plat of interwoven leafy trellis design above a drop-in upholstered seat supported at the front on a pair of well shaped cabriole legs carved at the knee with stylised acanthus leaves and terminating in well carved ball and claw feet. The chairs are large in scale and have significant stature.
Condition: The condition of the dining chairs is excellent with no breaks or structural issues. Cleaning includes gentle waxing by our experienced restoration team and the chairs can be re-upholstered on request. Please enquire for a quote to do so.
