Fine English Pedestal Desk Antique: A fine quality English flame mahogany free-standing twin-pedestal desk the leathered moulded box-top housing a large central oak-lined drawer flanked by a pair drawers above two banks of graduated drawers all with original brass handles. The shaped corners decorated with turned and columns carved with leaves and flowers.
Condition: This wonderful quality antique desk is in excellent original condition but would benefit greatly from cleaning and re-polishing by hand which is inclusive in the price, and which Wallrocks completes in house and by hand using traditional methods.
Qualities of these pedestal desks varies dramatically and this is a particularly fine example evidenced by the fabulous quality of flame mahogany, oak drawer linings and lovely detail in the original handles. Through appropriate restoration this desk will once again come to life.
