Fine quality pair 19th century French Empire bedside tables, the shaped marble tops with brass gallery above a drawer and cupboard inlaid with etched brass flanked by a pair of bowed sides supported on four bulbous brass inlaid legs joined by a mahogany shelf raised on four turned tapering legs.

Condition of Side Tables: Structurally sound, the pair of nightstands need cleaning and polishing which is done at the time of sale by Wallrocks skilled restoration team of 40 years. The side tables will be cleaned and re-polished by hand using traditional methods and is inclusive in the price. These bedside tables are typical of the French Empire Revival period, with their fine quality mahogany and beautifully details brass-work, making them a sophisticated addition to both classic and contemporary interiors.

As part of restoration, we can clean and gently re-polish and or wax this piece of antique furniture depending on your individual taste. Our French polisher has been with us for 40 years, and does everything by hand. No spray guns, and no nasty polyurethane sprays. Polishing allows the grain of the piece of furniture to become evident once again, and waxing provides a soft glow, however there is also the option to keep the piece in totally original condition if this is your preference.
