A set of three large decorative yellow 19th century original antique French confit pots in good condition. Footnote: Confit is the French word that means ‘to preserve’ and during the 19th century before modern day refrigeration, these mustard coloured half glazed pots were used for storing cooked meats by burying them part way into the ground or placing them into stone-lined larders.

Wallrocks delivery service is subject to restoration times. Our pieces are hand restored in the traditional methods and do take some time. We will always do our best to fit in with our customers’ delivery time frames and will discuss this at the time of purchase.
